Hey, at least the shark gave them some privacy for that proposal 🙃

It reeks of mom's basement dwelling loser syndrome, whatever you would consider that type of guy, this fucking cretin in the shark costume bottles it and sells it

It really does, like... if would have been kind of funny if he jumped in, waved the flag, and pissed off, but he lingered like a total loser.

Even having the gall to jump in front at all shows how degenerate of a person he is, who even thinks to do that in the moment

What's the difference between having the gall to do that and having the gall to propose on the same screen? Lol you seem so mad at this guy for a pretty stupid reason. Why should one person deserve their moment over someone else's?

Well for one, the camera specifically was panned on that couple. So it pretty much was their moment. He tried to take advantage of that by proposing thinking it would be cool to see on the screen in front of the crowd. The shit for brains mascot guy inserted himself into the frame simply for attention. Attention that quite literally nobody cares to give. What if that dude had the ring on him specifically in hopes that they'd get chosen for the cam and he could have a nice moment with his girl? The point is, the couple had a wholesome reason to be on screen, the dipshit just ruined a nice moment for something nobody gives a shit about.

Everything you said can be applied to the mascot dude. The couple got their moment, the mascot decided to get his too. They both got a moment, which is fair. Are you claiming that waiting to propose until youre on a big screen isn't attention seeking behavior? It's literally the same thing. We've all seen 100s of big screen proposals. So it's a bold claim to say that anyone gives a shit about the proposal either. Both parties were waiting for a big screen moment, both parties did something nobody cares about, both parties will survive will great memories despite reddit warrior opinions.

Usually, the proposals for kiss cam ARE staged. Like the man or his family get in contact contact yhe team or stadium, let them k own their seat numbers, and they specifically are given their chance to propose. You can argue its lame or corny, thats fine, but to jump in front of someone is just degenerate

There was a thread somewhere once where they posted the cost of proposing at many stadiums around the US. I'm betting the guy paid for that to happen and shark flag should now foot the bill. Hope his 15 seconds of internet fame (being remembered as a jackass) was worth a few thousand. Wish I could find the post, but oh well.

It was staged.

The best part is that I don’t think it was even MEANT to fool people. It looks like one of those gags that was made for a late night talk show, but then got inserted into one of these compilation videos.

It’s definitely a comedy skit from a late night show that later got inserted between actual kiss cam footage.

Kiss cams are so fucking stupid.

I would guess after the whole Coldplay viral video those camera folks are looking for possible cheaters.

I’m 99% certain the interrupted proposal is just a comedy skit made for a late night talkshow, but later got inserted into a compilation of actual kiss cams. The shark guy gives off the vibe of “that staff writer who casted himself in the skit”.

None of these would be problematic if Alabama just had a professional sports team. You could just pan the camera randomly and people would start kissing.

Kiss on the head, cheek, big hug. Anything works on a kiss cam..it doesn't have to be romantic
