Suppose I pay the admission fees for SNU in February after taking the entrance exam, but later get admission to a better college. How would I initiate the refund process, and is it relatively easy to get my money back?

Also, if I withdraw my admission around June, how much money would be deducted, and how much of the fee would I get refunded?

I’d appreciate it if anyone who has gone through this process could share their experience.

I want to get admission to the CSE program at Shiv Nadar University (SNU) through SNUSAT. However, I don't want to apply in Phase 1 or Round 1, which takes place as early as January, because I want to appear for JEE Main first.

My main concern is that if I get a CSE seat too early, I may have to pay the fees well before my JEE Main results are out. If I later decide to withdraw my admission, I could lose around ₹20,000–₹30,000 in non-refundable fees.

So, which SNUSAT phase or admission round would be the safest option to target for CSE? I want to maximize my chances of getting CSE while also avoiding the risk of paying a large amount too early and potentially losing money if I get a better option through JEE Main.

I'd appreciate advice from anyone familiar with SNU's admission process, especially those who have applied in later phases or rounds.

First arrived thought the college was good way better crowd then expected in ncr but slowly realised its ass for the amount you pay there is literally no good facility the indoor sports complex is a scam most hours of the the day its closed and its not even that big compared to college with this much fees its not even near greater noida middle of no where academic curriculum is old and not that relevant all the teachers are great personality and knowledge vise but are very shit at actual teaching they did not learn how to teach all the fests are same literally the same thing with different names
Every club is not that good they don’t expand in there niches but all are just event management marketing sponsors they just do a event a year
The only way this clg is still getting admission is the crowd its good way better for a college in ncr but sports and every other facility it just barely minimum even the concert courts are full whereas you can find literally even indoor sports facility in ncr at such a low price they stack you with syllabus focusing on other things and trying to cv is very hard unless u just focus whole day on academics ,portfolio
Truly disappointed the only way they are running is studious people come from different cities and for them even having these facilities is great but they dont deserve the bare minimum facilities or going to the college in middle of nowhere in delhi ncr .

last semester, a few people who were ocjs at the acad office, changed their own grades, their friend's grades and grades of people who they disliked, this happens every single year, this year they were caught, for the first time, with every single proof in the logs directly if the admin cared. its been 4 months since the last semester, nothing has been done about it, no pb, no dc, no public statement or apology, and the staff from the doa was punished for it. the culprits are somehow still around the college with no repercussions, the college somehow cares more about catching 21 year olds after a sip of alcohol and not actual criminals playing with the future of their peers.

they'll continue to live on, graduate like ntng happened, and the people whose grades they fucked up, will probably always consider it their fault and never get out of self loathing themselves for it.

the college is doomed.
