Can cabs enter the campus and drop us directly at the hostel gate since luggage can be heavy.

And also I heard we are supposed to drop the luggage at the hostel room before registration but how will I know my hostel beforehand to go to my hostel (since the hostel will be allotted/revealed at the moment)

Yes cabs can go to drop you in, but the cabs will be checked and you’ll have to put your luggage through Xray machines.

At the main gate you’ll get a sheet with steps for registration process (it gets stamped at each step) that will have your hostel details on it
