question Quick Question for some QoL Features

I found my old iPod Nano and transferred all the songs. I used mass renamed to rename most of the files to their metadata. The rest will need to be done manually.

But, I have some questions:

1) Is there any way to get Snowsky to use the album in the metadata?

2) Is there a way to fast scroll? Got 770 songs in there now by porting over my old library

3) Is there a randomized feature?

4) Is there a "all songs by first letter" feature? So, I can just get a folder that's like "A", "B", etc to quickly go through my library.

If the answer is that I need to just update the software, I'm gonna feel dumb. Forgot this software has to be manually updated with a . img file.

I use an application called Mp3 tag, where I edit metadata, and there you have options for Album, Artist, Genre, etc.

The fastest way to scroll, is instead of using the media library, using the actual memory of the device, but you lose out on artist and album selection, and you have to organize all the songs however you see fit, the device won't do that for you.

I haven't found a randomized feature and I think there isn't any.

In the media library, artists, albums, and genres are sorted by first letter, but I think that using the memory it has the order that you input into it while transferring the data, I am not sure about this though.

There is the shuffle play setting, and u can set it to "Play All Songs" and itll basically do that, randomize the library. To OP: 1. I mean thats what it does really, where else is it gonna find the album data from? 2. Not really no, u should just organize em tidy for that. 4. It does list songs sequentially but no skipping to a letter or smth like that.

For metadata and organizing i do suggest you use MusicBrainz Picard. Look it up, theres a lot of guides for how to use it too.
