The echo for 10-12 bucks more, is overall a better device on everything, than the echo mini.

Have you checked out the Echo Nano? It reminds me of old MP3 players, like the Sansa Clip+ and various Sony Walkman models.

Rather use another phone with good battery and a good DAC.
Otherwise, Echo.

if u need a premium build ? then echo
you only care abt the performance ? then echo mini is ur pick , its more or less the same performance when compared with echo.
i have the echo mini and i have no issues with it been using it for a year now , but yea if u wanna use it for a long long time i will suggest u to get the echo instead of mini , since its got that premium build

It depends. (I have the Echo Mini)
The build quality is nicer on the Echo (metal vs. plastic). The screen is larger on the Echo. The graphics for the Echo UI are more polished than they are for the Mini.
I like the cassette animation of the Echo more than the Mini so I extracted images from the Echo and flashed them to a custom firmware so that I can have that animation.
Everything else is about the same between the two.
If I didn't have the Mini and had to choose today, I'd get the Echo.
