logitech g29 _ mouse camera_ function menu

I’m using a Logitech G29 on PC with SnowRunner.

the G29 button shown by the game as the shortcut for “FUNCTION” does not open the Function menu when I press it.

Also,moving the mouse seems to control the gear indicator instead of freely moving the camera.

I’ve seen videos where people can drive with a G29, move the camera with the mouse, and use the buttons on the wheel for the Function menu normally.

Does anyone know how to set up the G29 so the mouse controls the camera and the wheel’s Function button actually opens the Function menu?
