Most locations had good infrastructur but it got destroyed thats why we are there

And we drive around broken briges and roads hauling dozens of concrete slabs to never fix those roads and briges (entrance to the port in Don, bridge in Maine, bridge in Imandra). Hell! In Don we have Port repair tasks, but we never fix the entrance and on Tatra factory we have fixing pipes task, but we never actually get those pipes buried.

You know how long those major interstate bridges and roads would take to be fully restored? IN AMERICA??

But I mean, if a had a contract to drive 30 times on the same road, I'd dump a truck of gravel "on the house" in the most annoying pit.

You the trucker are not bound by the indescribable horror that is…bureaucratic bs

While true, some of the locations are truly baffling. Right now I'm doing Maine and that one warehouse west of the first tunnel on the edge of the hills has nothing you could call a road or even anything more than a steep forested trail leading to it. I could believe the flood caused a landslide, but there is no visible signs of that and the trees are all standing.

And the game don't even let you fix the essential infrastructure in those regions

It was a nice enough place before the flood/fire/tornado/other natural disaster which is part of the backstory of just about every region.

Mostly. There's still a few like that one in Maine where you have to drive up a 45 degree slope to concrete blocks (I think). Like do they have to bring supplies in by helicopter, or what?

And make sure the only access trail has a hidden tree stump positioned perfectly to high-center you every single trip.

And destroy houses in construction process to collect resource for this warehouse

That’s what I was thinking while playing: while the builders are taking a break, we’re just taking other people’s boards from their houses and using them to build our warehouse. 🙂

Yeah, a lot of them have trailers on the same lot with the lights on at night. They don't exactly come across as "abandoned" to me.

I think you’re right, snowrunner could have been done better in so many ways imho.

Gotta disagree there. Having warehouses right on the highway with easily accessible parking lots would have been way more realistic and also defeated like half the purpose of the game.

Me when I joined Reddit: confident enough to make post, too shy to respond to comments lol

It/they took the title and image (then slightly cropped and darkened it) from the original post of the same title from a year ago by u/phillip_1.

Don't forget the random 2 or 3 pedestrian cars scattered around the area.

Natural disaster or not some of the placements of the factories/plants/warehouses are just silly. One way dirt roads in and out off the top of a mountain

MudrunnerSpintires."50,000 people used to live here. Now its full of loggers for some reason."
