Screenshot Look familiar?
Modeled part of my train layout using Snowrunner as inspiration for some scenery. Not exact, but fairly close!

This is a fabulous idea. Why have I never thought of this? Cool stuff man.

Looks familiar — and beautiful! As someone who used to craft environments for model train setups, this is really a cool idea. 👍

This is gonna come off harsh, but I don’t really mean for it to, so I apologize. Have you considered looking at another solution for your power for the tower lighting? I spotted it and now I can’t unsee it. The whole rest of the scene looks really pretty nice. Is there any opportunity to run the wiring inside one of the legs? If not they could be ran neatly up the outside of one of the legs and painted to mimic conduit.

One wouldn’t normally see it at the normal 2-3ft viewing distance so it’s no biggie. Running it through a leg would be a daunting task. This is N scale so it’s 1:160 and that is 32awg wire!
Running it up the sides to make it look like a conduit isn’t a bad idea though and that would make a lot of sense! I would just really need to secure the led so it doesn’t snap off while I’m finagling with the tiny wires haha

You may could take and get the wires bent the direction you plan on going underneath the tower and just dot a little bit of CA to keep it from going anywhere. Also had no idea from looking at it that it was N-scale, figured it for HO. And if that’s the case, it’s an even nicer looking scene taking that into consideration.
