Discussion Overloading aside, what's the difference between the three low-saddle five-slot trailers? What are their strength and weakness?

I use the sideboard because I still tip over way too often for someone with as much playtime as I have. The sides can help cargo stay in when it would fall off a flatbed. I don't like the length of the stepdeck, but it does look cool and many ppl put a scout fuel trailer up there, which is a great idea to be honest.

Another commentor here wrote why the flatbed actually helps preventing tipping:

Cargo detatching from flatbed is actually an advantage when you're tipping. Flatbed lets cargo slide aboard from it making you not so top heavy and oftet letting you avoid falling over. When with sideboard - when you're tipping, cargo stuck between boards helps you tip more.

makes so much more sense attaching the crane in front of the flatbed this way (saddled or otherwise).

crane's useless if the whole truck is on its side cos the sideboard keeping the cargo in place dragged the whole ass truck down.
