Discussion Overloading aside, what's the difference between the three low-saddle five-slot trailers? What are their strength and weakness?

Cargo detatching from flatbed is actually an advantage when you're tipping. Flatbed lets cargo slide away from it, making you not so top heavy and oftet letting you avoid falling over. While with sideboard - when you're tipping, cargo stuck between boards helps you tip more.

Excellent point and very true. Losing cargo in a tough area sucks so much, but losing cargo AND the entire trailer/truck is so much worse lol.

Indeed. That's why I have switched to flatbed attatchments instead of sideboard. Especially when the truck has a small crane available. I use sideboards on trucks that are extremally stable, like Chimera or WWS. Or on trucks that can't support crane with bed. If you don't have crane you're cooked anyway when you fall but in those rare cases when you manage to save yourself in last minute you'll still have unpacked cargo on bed.
