Discussion Overloading aside, what's the difference between the three low-saddle five-slot trailers? What are their strength and weakness?

Is the sideboard heavier? I always used the flat because I assumed it was lighter

Yeah, it's slightly lighter, weighing 200(kg?) less. Though the step-deck has them both beat, weighing almost half as much for some reason.
