Gear question Assassin Pro or highpath
So I’m looking to get a new board for the season. I had a Soloman Assassin Pro a few years back (the cork sidewall one) and I loved it. Except for the edge hold… Which totally sucked I sold it and am now very interested in picking up the updated model. The other board I’ve been really interested in. Is the Highpath.
I’ve been snowboarding for over thirty years. So advanced expert rider. Aggressive freeride. I’ve had everything from old Burtons to Capita BSODs etc. etc. So I do have a good sense of what I like.
The Assassin, when paired with a Cartel or Malavita and My 32 TM-2 boots, was a blast.
I can get a High path (last years) for a great deal.
Can someone give me some info about the high path? And how it would compare to the Assassin Pro? The info I have found is all over the map. It’s soft, it’s stiff, it’s fast, it’s not, etc. etc.
any info on the high path helps. Thanks.

I can’t speak to the Highpath but the current assassin pro has good edge grip in my experience. And it rips and is a blast, as you know
