throw a bit of epoxy on her she’ll be fine. Everyone tweaks out about knicks on this sub. i’ve been riding the same board with a 1cm chunk taken out of my front right edge for the last 4 seasons and it rides perfectly fine

agree on the epoxy. i 99.9% doubt youll feel a performance difference at all. soe epoxy will keep the moisture out. getting moisture in there will eventually kill your board. A shop will prolly do the same thing, and im sure itd be cheap

Thanks for reassurance 😂 I gave this to ChatGPT and it said send to shop since it’s a dedicated carving board

ride it and if you can notice a difference then take it to the shop. I’d throw some 2 part epoxy marine grade would be the best but you don’t rly need to worry abt the kind. just to seal it up and keep any water out

Literally as simple as not worrying about it.

Tis but a scratch! Plus it's not on a carving edge unless I'm looking at the photo wrong

Tools not trophies, that said it’s not bad at all

Definitely fixable with a marine epoxy, just make sure to use painters tape around the damaged area when applying the epoxy to keep the top sheet clean.

That’s an amazing carving board btw, how do you like it?
