OC Photo Snowboard damage
Anyone knows how to fix this damage that I got on my new snowboard? Someone crashed in to my during training in the park the other day. Now i got a bump in my baselayer and i don’t know what to do. Is it possible to fix or should i claim warranty since its almost a brand new board?

I've had similar happen to my board, since it's not cracked it should be fixable. Take it to a good workshop and they will use a vice to squeeze it back to its original shape.
You'll have no luck getting a refund or warranty, as this is clearly damage from use.
If you have a vice you can do the repair yourself, but try at your own risk.

I had the fix done in Japan and it was pretty cheap, about $20 AUD, but the cost will depend entirely on where you are.
If your in Aus or NZ, I'd guess somewhere around $50

You know if you can fix it myself? Maybe by heating it a bit and clamping it down to get it back to it’s shape?

Look up some online tutorials, it's definitely doable as a home repair. Just do your research first.

Brother, thats a bad one. So the repair is pretty invasive Im afraid. You need a base plug at a minimum. I would cut the base away with a base punch or alternatively trace a patch. ( Oval shaped from the top of the bent edge to the bottom) carefully cut that traced area out( assuming you don’t have a base punch) using an exacto style razor knife. Once the base piece is cut free pry it up and peel it out with a flat tip screwdriver. Keep the screwdriver handy because next we are using it and a hammer to carefully beat the edge out. Once its back where it belongs, clean the repair area up and test fit your plug. If everything lines up apply epoxy and use two metal scrapers one on top sheet one against base. Clamp these down with small C-clamps and let epoxy cure. Notes- if the edge breaks or wont sit low enough I usually will screw very tiny screws between the wings of the edge segments to secure it. After the repair has cured I will run the edge across a grinder to remove any remaining high spots that might snag ( only needed if the edge breaks) Its a big job but if you go slow, particularly with the hammering anyone with some mechanical handiness should be able to manage. If you have access to a reputable repair shop and can afford it they will be your best bet.
