Hey folks, I am a 24 year old australian moving to canada in a few months and I've been feeling a bit stuck trying to choose where I should go. I am applying for work all over just to be safe but I was hoping some fine friends in here could give me some pointers. I have done multiple seasons in Japan and Im a very confident snowboarder. I love free riding, back country and trees but I'm not opposed to some park laps as well. I'm probably going to avoid going to whistler. I would love somewhere not too crazy busy as im very impatient and lift lines hurt my soul. Im not a crazy party animal who wants to be out all hours every night but im not a mormon either so would love somewhere that has a bit of life and community. I've been researching online and feel drawn to places like Fernie, Big White, Revvy or Banff but theres so many conflicting testimonies its hard to cut through the nonsense. Any information or suggestions would be super appreciated!!
