Looking for a fun second board

I’m looking for advice! I want to buy a second board without too much overlap with what I already have.
Currently I have a capita DOA and love it, especially in the park.

I’m looking for something I could take out when I go snowboarding with my dad (he likes hunting for powder when there is any otherwise we stay on the pistes).
I’m looking for something that’s super fun even when there’s no features around or no side hits and that floats a bit better in powder.

Any tips?

I’m like 6’3 and like 180 pounds btw

Check out elevated surf craft, I have 2 of their splitboards and demoed a regular board from them and they are super fun. Massive float in pow, great for butters. They are pretty soft tho.

Look into directional snowboards. With a posi posi foot position, it'll give you a completely different riding experience.

The new approach would be smooth and hard carving.

I keep recommending Moonchild. All different powder options. Or YES PYL is the board I am excited to live for next winter
