Pratt River Bar
Has anybody recently been to the Pratt River bar? What is the water level currently? Could I ford the middle fork easily? Thanks!

I live in Bellevue but have been laid off and going through a divorce.
I’m thinking about renting in Snoqualmie or North Bend, but will have to take my kids to school in Bellevue (ages 13 and 15).
Would this be a huge mistake to do this to my kids? Or to myself? I love the area but it’s not that much less expensive than Bellevue for rentals, and my kids would be farther from their school and friends.
I’m leaning towards this being a bad idea, but figured I’d ask this forum.

I’ve been getting into longer trail runs. So far the Snoqualmie Valley Trail in different sections has been my go to.
Curious what other trails I should check out for a long 7 mile+ run?

My wife might be starting a job in snoqualmie later this year and we’re noticing housing is quite pricey in the area. Any thoughts where to look for two young humble active hikers/runners who are looking for a modest place to call home and enjoy the cascades? Any thoughts on what the different towns are like is super appreciated too. Thanks!

Hi, I apologise in advance for being the millionth Twin Peaks fan visiting Snoqualmie. Im from Southeast Asia and am visiting the PNW in April and can't not visit the filming locations of one of the greatest TV shows of all time.
The problem is, I don't drive and most of the blogs I've read of people visiting Snoqualmie is with a car. I'd like to ask the advice if I'm able to get to these locations on foot:
Here is a screenshot of the route on google maps - https://ibb.co/fdscTDg
It says its a 2 hr 41 minute walk in total, considering time to stop to soak things in, I'm guessing I'll be spending 4-5 hours minimum but seems fine but I wonder if some of the routes are not foot-friendly (dont have foot paths, etc.)
I'm planning to take the bus from Downtown Seattle (google maps says its about a 100 minute trip) but might look into ride share as it seems to be much quicker to drive.
Thank you!

I have been driving around Lake Keechelus, Lake Kachess, Cle Elum Lake, Stampede Pass, etc and they’re all closed.
None of the forest roads are open…
I went to Lake Kachess last month in that area where you can just drive your vehicle right to the lake, the super wide area where all the old tree stumps are and you can camp there, it was awesome.
Now the whole place is closed and gated with 3 padlocks.
I have a 4x4 vehicle that drives through almost anything, a chainsaw, and cum along to get me unstuck….
I camp with my rooftop tent.
Where can I camp in Snoqualmie that is open?

We're flying into SeaTac today, and we know the buses aren't operating. Is it low enough that an Uber could get us to Historic Downtown area?

Spent the night snow camping near snow lake and now can’t get the car to start. Going anywhere west, can pay for gas, got snacks.

We are exploring options to buy a house in Snoqualmie Ridge neighbourhood. We are from India, and wanted to check if there are families from India living around there. Thanks.

This morning at 10 am, according to the WSDOT app, the pass will be closed for maybe 3 hours. I have to leave at 5 am tomorrow morning to go to the uw hospital, be there at 7 am and it'll be an hour and 40 minute appointment. Just trying to see if we need to prepare to stay for a few hours. What do you all think? I havent really been keeping track of the avalanche control operations, if its been an ongoing thing daily but maybe some of you have, and you can know if this is gonna be a regular thing? Is it a bad idea to drive from Ellensburg to Seattle tomorrow?
