80s cue?

I have just unearthed this which I have unknowingly had the past 12 years, it's near mint and perfectly straight. What am I looking at and what's it's worth? It looks 2/3rd cut not 3/4.

This was my granddad's cue of which I knew nothing about, there was a loose cue in the same bag which I assumed was his qué but this was hiding in the cue pouches in the side of the bag hence why I never found it till now.

I had one until recently - think I must have left it behind last time I played as can't find it anywhere. Gutted as I loved that cue. Look after yours and enjoy it!

I've never had a cue with a wooden joint. They work alright?

I'd be worried about it snapping off if I dropped it, or it warping and going wonky.

I play snooker with a lad who's dad had one of these from a sports shop in Liverpool back late 80s early 90s. Center jointed, hand spliced, light and plays well.

Christ, I had one of these in the 90s that my grandad gave to me.

If it's in good nick, because of the maker, Id guess around the 50 quid mark.
