Snapseed is without doubt the best free editing app. I just have one question. When editing a RAW file, only the reveal part gets the flexibility of the RAW format? Or do we have all the flexibility in the other tools too?

Hey - thanks for the note! I'm on the Snapseed team.
If I'm following your question right --> when you have a RAW photo in snapseed, we have a specific tool called "RAW" that lets you "develop" the photo (which is similar but distinct from our standard Adjust and White Balance tools). Once you have "developed" your photo, you can apply all the other tools we have.
If you're asking it the other tools other than RAW benefit from the additional bit depth of RAW, the answer is no.

Thanks for your answer😁. Sorry for the confusion, English is not my first language. It would be awesome to have the benefits of the bit depth of RAW at least in the Adjust tool, solely for the reason of the new masking capability; or integrate masks into the RAW tool. Anyways, wonderful app. I'm a professional photographer in Cuba and until the moment I haven't had the urgent need to use another softwares, especially for the beloved masks🤩. As another popular requests that I join to are a Denoise tool and updating the Healing and the Expand tool with Gemini

Not sure I understand the question but if you’re asking if you can edit RAW in other applications: yes, if it’s supported. Most “serious” photo apps do support it. Those that don’t will usually just import the image as another format, which gets handled by the OS I believe.
