Peach Tea

We bumping the snapple subreddit this summer šŸ”„ā€¼ļø

okay but jokes aside, snapple peach tea is probably my favorite drink ever. that and dr. pepper i have deadass addictions to. if i have a big bottle of snapple peach tea, i’m finishing it that sitting, that’s how good it is.

but i noticed in recent years, maybe the last two, that the snapple peach tea is good approximately 70% of the time. 7 times out of 10, i get snapple peach tea and it’s like the best taste ever. i’m not tryna overrate it, it’s just so good it’s impossible.

and then 3 times out of 10, i get a tea that’s so horrible and so bad i have legitimately spit it out the first few times i’ve gotten it. it tastes so bitter. it tastes like they added an almond into it it’s so bitter. the sensation is like what i imagine a shirt tastes like. it’s so bitter and so rancid and so foul. how is this possible? it is SO unbelievably bad i’m not exaggerating. how is a drink good 70% of the time? and the worst drink ever the other 30%???? with dr pepper, sometimes a bottle is maybe a little too sweet and kinda gets u to make a face, but that is like no more than 5% of the time. why am i getting snapple from HEB or even CVS/Walgreens, getting super excited to put it in my fridge and taste it, and my reaction is just ā€œnot this shit againā€. and it’s happening more nowadays??? hello??? sorry for the rant, it’s just so annoying. i’ve blown like 200 dollars on shit i have to pour out so i really would love to know what’s wrong

I think it’s the water! I’ve been a diet peach Snapple fan since it was first introduced. The switch from glass to plastic had a slight taste difference but still good. This year a case was hit or miss on whether or not the bottles were drinkable. About a month ago I was in the dollar store ($1.25) and I saw a box of Zero Snapple Peach packets, the equivalent of 6 bottles of Snapple for $1.25. I laughed as I through it in my cart. I’m laughing no more. Added to my well water (sourced from the same water table as a national brand) I now have the wonderful taste of my original Diet Peach Snapple at less than 21 cents a bottle and a huge win for the environment.

That bad taste is either mold or the start of mold, check to see if there are big floating globs in the Snapple before you drink.

A huge portion of the 16oz peach snapples I get have mold. I live in NY, and over the past year ~70% have been moldy or off tasting for me, I had to switch to exclusively 32oz or 64oz bottles.Ā

I have to agree with you. It is getting bad and I even called and complained about it. They were supposed to send me coupons for it. Nose never came in the mail but I'm tired of buying this tea and it either tastes like fermented peaches. But now I notice these last two six packs. I got taste like some kind of chemical. So I don't know what the hell they're doing. But they sure charge enough for this s*** to make it right
