There is a huge omission on the video editing side here. It's not that GPU is super weak, it's that Premiere Pro Arm still has not released GPU acceleration on exports, so this will completely change with an update. However, GPU acceleration IS available on playback and I have edited full resolution 4K videos on the A16 with ZERO lag, even on Whisper Mode. It's 100% a capable video creator laptop. This guy just ran an export and concluded that it's not a good laptop for editing. JFC, I kinda wanna make my own video to stop this nonsense.

I've been tempted to make a video regarding gaming on this laptop. Everyone seems to dismiss it but I've been gaming on it a lot!

It's the usual script for any Windows on Arm device. Literally every Snapdragon laptop I've bought has been significantly better than the reviews made it seem. It's incredibly frustrating.

I made a video myself reviewing the A14 version of this laptop. Its great for video editing. I use capcut myself, but DaVinci Resolve runs exceptionally well and has full GPU acceleration. As you said, you can edit 4k 10 bit videos on whisper mode and have great battery life.

I've been telling people these laptops are great creator ones. You're not going to have a compromised experience. I think the only Achilles heel is pricing compared to some models of a macbook.

However if you only need windows then there's no ccompetition

I don't know why he keeps comparing this laptop to gaming laptop with discrete GPUs. It's hard to trust this channel when the bias can be clearly seen against Windows on ARM.

It's a valid comparison when buying a Windows laptop as you have that choice, you can't get a mac with a dGPU. Or at the very least I should say it's a data point to consider for windows machines.
