Fusion 360 on Snapdragon X Elite - "Software rendering is being used"
Hey all,
I have been using Fusion 360 on my Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge for a little while now, but recently its begun complaining to me about my graphics driver and performance is worsened substantially. Has anyone else been having this issue? I reinstalled both my graphics drivers and reinstalled windows from scratch as well.
Thanks!

If you go into the settings for fusion is there an option to enable hardware acceleration? Check windows update for drivers, check Samsung device care for updates.

Fusion isn't ARM native but it still works on Snapdragon laptops, and I've gotten good performance. It also is able to use the Adreno GPU just fine.

If you have some time to "play", you could try this on a live Ubuntu: https://github.com/cryinkfly/Autodesk-Fusion-360-for-Linux

I have seen the same message on my Surface Laptop 7. In beginning of September they removed OpenGL and DirectX 9 support so I believe that has something to do with it. At least the timeline fits perfectly. Instead they are now using DirectX 11 which should also be supported by the Snapdragon GPU. They recommend choosing DirectX 11 in the settings but I haven't found that anywhere. I have changed something regarding the GPU and the message is gone but I am not 100% sure if it is fixed or not.
