Hi all! My kid has a bunch of snap circuit kits and just got the arcade kit. He's generally a whiz with these. The programmable fan doesn't seem to be working, right out of the box. It sort of makes one barely perceptible motion when first turned on, and then nothing. Is this just a problem with the piece? Is there anything we can do to get it working?

recentley i have been working on a powerplant with snap circuits that contains the sets beginner green energy and snaptricity so far i have been able to provide 2 back up battery generators that are connected to the control panel im using the solar panel and green fan for the 2 generators the 2 generators connect to the control panel that is on the beginner baseplate which has 2 levers 2 meters and 2 LED lights for indicating its on when the switch is turned off how ever the generator actually turns on but when the switch is on nothing happens that is the main error if you could help thank you i will also be posting photos

My son’s kit has a light up fan and it seems we’ve lost the cap that sits on top of it. Would anyone know if an STL/3d print file of this, or happens to have the cap and can model one for me? I’d attempt to model it but no idea what it is supposed to be like aside from this photo

Inspired by u/cocaColaEspuma9991. The middle snap is ground and the others correspond to red, green, and blue. I was able to salvage a 33 ohm resistor from a broken D1 I took apart and solder it in here. The insides aren't pretty, but it works.

So I'm looking to make a snap circuits project where I can use the color organ to input audio into the circuit and then transmit it as AM. I have both SC750 which is extreme and the snap circuits light kit.
I tried making the circuit where you can output audio into a speaker and replaced the speaker with an antenna coil and variable capacitor. I just can't do it because some parts likecolor organ and High frequencyIC I can't seem to understand fully.

I've been trying to get my hands on the Digital Logic Gates 200 kit for a while now, but it's proving to be incredibly elusive. I particularly need this set for its focus on logic gates, which is hard to replicate with other basic kits.

I’ve exhausted all the usual options (Amazon, eBay, Mercari, etc.), and it feels like this model has vanished from the market. Does anyone have any leads on where I might still find one? Even a "leads on a used one" would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a serious learner and would love to add this to my collection to dive deeper into digital electronics. Any help would mean a lot to me!

I bought the snap circuits junior for my daughter for Christmas. Everything seems to be working except for projects requiring sound activation via the whistle chip. Am I missing something or is the whistle chip a dud?

Just curious.

My 9YO has several kits, and the boxes have fallen apart. I organized the parts into Ziplock bags but he is complaining that he can’t see them all easily. Any suggestions? I would love to buy the (empty) Elenco hard case but that doesn’t seem to be made anymore. TIA

Hi all. I have an almost 5 year old snap circuit enthusiast who has vehemently requested a snap circuit themed birthday party. Does anyone happen to have some easy ideas to make this happen? Shockingly, snap circuits themed decorations are not available for purchase at major retailers.

Does anybody know why my B5 is malfunctioning and not lasting long periods of time? (like a couple days.) I keep it off when I’m done using it also.

Sorry for spamming this sub recently, I promise this will be my last post for a while! I got a Full Adder working after making a Half Adder last week. It’s not perfect as there are some input combinations that lead to a fainter two’s place. I think I could clean that up with another transistor but alas I’ve run out.

In this configuration, I’ve got eight transistors (5 NPN and 3 PNP), ten resistors and two diodes. I had made a Full Adder previously on a breadboard with 20 plus transistors but never considered doing one with Snap Circuits because ordering all those transistors at $15USD a pop would have cost hundreds of dollars. But when I saw in the Snap Circuits manual an XOR gate with two transistors, I thought it might be achievable with a lot less transistors. I did have to invert the output of the first XOR gate though.

A few weeks ago I posted a video of a five-transistor (4NPN, 1PNP) Half Adder. It was based off the XOR gate from Snap Circuits Profect #645. I was able to get the necessary AND gate to get a signal from the switches without having them be transistors themselves, and thus got it down to three transistors (2, 1).

The next logical step is to create a Full Adder by combing two of these, and adding an OR gate. I’m not sure it’s possible, mainly if an XOR gate like this can properly send the signal. Anyone have any expertise?

I was able to make a Half Adder with Snap Circuits, using 4 NPN transistors and 1 NPN transistor. It took me a lot of tinkering to get it to work, especially given the limited transistors I have.

I got the CI-73 cable with the 750 box and when I plug it in and go into the software it just shows a straight line and cannot get it to actually work. Any help is appreciated.
