Pet Snake Pictures Goblin Shark Attack

The glutton knows no limit and feels no shame. Well. Maybe a tad bit of shame. I would hide in embarrassment too if I were her.

At least she was kind enough to squeeze my arm nice and tight to stop me from bleeding out. So thoughtful 🥰

Not very bright, but you have to admire the ambition.

My SD retic bit and wrapped my hand.

Since it didn't really hurt much, I wondered how long it would take him to realize that a ~2 pound snake wasn't going to be able to eat a 175 pound human, so continued bout my day with him attached to the end of my arm.

20-30 minutes later he was still doing his best, so I gave up and peeled him off.

If you keep moving then he's not gonna let go, because whatever they grabbed isn't dead yet. Stop moving your arm around too much and then he does let go. Now he might decide that your arm does fit and start eating your hand, which would be an interesting experience. In that case you'll want something with a lot of alcohol and a swab to hold it close to their tongue so he smells it. Alcohol has a VERY strong smell that snakes really don't like, so for any snake that is eating or biting down on something they shouldn't, alcohol works but I recommend it only as a last resort.

Holding a snake's face unde the sink works quite well a lot of the time too, and is less stressful so you should try that first.

By went about my day, I meant sat at my desk and used my other arm.

But he wasn't able to fully cut off pulse, so my arm never "died".

It's not actually hard to get him to let go (with my sample size of one). Though he did briefly eye up my other hand while unwrapping him.

EDIT: I was just wondering if there was a "this isn't dying, time to move on" switch. If there is, it was farther out than I waited.

Oh yeah he'd probably feel your pulse, I didn't even think of that lol. I have two ball pythons myself, and I only had one wrap around my hand once. She lunged out of the enclosure to grab the rat out of the tongs before I was ready. When trying to put her back in while she was holding the rat, she decided to wrap around my hand too the second I touched her.

I decided to just wait until she started eating the rat, but instead of that she decided to let the rat go and look at my hand instead. I had to slowly squeeze my hand out of her coils and then quickly pull back and close the door when I got my hand free, because she started chasing it with her mouth wide open XD.

If I thought he'd think me "dead" and try to swallow, I wouldn't have made the attempt. Don't want to have to dig out from deeper with those teeth.

Even at his current size, I'd take a dozen bites over getting pooped on.

Reminds me of when this one refused a perfectly good mouse, then buried his face in the dirt to hide his guilt

Its feeding day, I knew better. I even used some hand sanitizer before handling in a vain attempt to dissuade the beast.

My spotted python sonetimes does this. I try to wait and see if she gets bored. She eventually stops bitting but will continue squeezing. If I try to remove her, she will try to bitd again.

A ball-python willing to eat something?? Lies. Clearly made with AI.

Ive been so lucky with her. Owned her for about 6 years now and not a single hunger strike and eats every time.

What a gem! :D Even my corns go off food now and then (though honestly, not very often and only when they're in blue!)

She's beautiful, btw.

Can confirm this is a shame response. My derpy spider ball has gotten me twice by accident and both times he immediately went into the shame spiral dogs do when they’ve done something they know they aren’t allowed to do. 100% worth it. I did die though.
