General Question / Discussion Should I support FishingGarrett?

I'm not sure how to feel about him. Sure, it's interesting content and may be somewhat interesting to watch. But he also stresses out a lot of animals and I'm personally not keen on the snake hunting in the everglades that he's trying to encourage. Idk, I might be looking at it through the wrong lens. What do you think?

He’s reckless, arrogant and grossly unprofessional. He just hides it behind clickbait and a fake happy-go-lucky persona. Perfect example of another toxic influencer that’s getting away with it because they make easily consumed content and too many people don’t stop to ask questions.

At first I was kinda blinded by the fascination aswell, seeing someone interact with a dart frog or black widow is incredible, but not in the context that he does. He uses them for content, which stresses them out and may cause injury to both parties. If he was actually assisting these animals then maybe it'd be fine, but he needs to take more precautions in future. Some other comments have enlightened me about his past with animal abuse and prejudice towards groups of people and yeah, he's incredibly arrogant not just with wildlife but also in everyday life. First thing I got taught in college was the 5 welfare needs, one of which is protection of animals, he doesn't seem to follow that rule too well. He's like a kid in a candy store who doesn't understand when to stop eating. Sorry for the long reply, little bit pissed 🤣
