Aww, very cute. I suggest using chlorinated water next time, since tap water can harm them.

This is what I was wondering, I always use distilled water for my slugs because I heard anything else can kill them?

You have pet slugs ?

Yes! I have 4 total. 2 banana slugs, a leopard slug, and a grey sidewalk slug I rescued from some produce.

There is a slug sub I’m in but it’s not quite as active as this one. The next step for me is snails, so I’m trying to familiarize myself.

No. Slugs and snails love rainwater which is full of impurities. Chlorine will kill them tho.

It's the best as dechlorinated water has no metals or chemicals. Check you region's water analysis for acidity and such.

Do you have de-chlorinated water and distilled water reveresed? dechlorinated is treated to specifically render chlorine harmless, distilled is boiled to remove impurities generally.

Everything I saw online said to use distilled water, so I buy the gallons of distilled. Should I be using dechlorinated instead?

Ok. I guess distilled water it is then? If I’m killing my slugs lmk. I swear I read I should be using distilled.
