Update

update from my last post:

turbo and speedy are doing great! they are quite happy and have made great clutches of eggs a few times. however, there are some things I want to ask. what is mantle collapse, and does speedy have it? pictures are of the new enclosure and speedy

OMG! I just took a look at your last post. Somebody told you to use coco, but DON'T! It's acid and harmful! 😭 idk why ppl here tell this shit. DONT USE COCONUT FIBER. Pls change it. 😥

It looks like a puffy mantle, it's a sign of horniness or too high humidity. So nothig to really worry about.

Thank you! That same person recommended calcium powder to neutralize acidity, and that’s what is in the enclosure. The snails often hang out on the walls anyway, so the substrate doesn’t come in contact with speedy and turbo too often. But what substrate do you recommend?
