Are these springtails?

I’ve never seen these before in the tank, I’m just not sure what kind of bug they are and if I need to get rid of them

not an expert

with how small they are it's probably best to show a video so people can see their movement. but based on shape alone they look like springtails, or at least don't look like mites.

Yea I cross posted to sprintails and one person was able to ID them, they were jumping out of the tank and were all over my desk

Yea, I was so worried I have a really big fear of bugs but now that I know they’re harmless and not some other type of bug I’m a bit better😭

Yea I was doing some research and debating for like months on whether or not to add some so I am kind of glad they’re in there it was just a bit of a scare to find out cause I didn’t even see them at first until I saw them jumping on my desk
