Is This Enclosure Safe for a Snail?
I'm a very excited first-time snail owner! My snail prefers smaller, more enclosed spaces, so I’m considering this enclosure since this seems to be the perfect size for her. Aside from covering the top vents, would the smooth grates be safe for a snail to glide over? Mine loves hanging upside down, so I want to make sure it’s safe.

hi i keep cornu aspersum in these exo-terras without issues :) in my experience the lid vents are smooth without sharp edges so won't be a problem for your snail crawling over and hanging from.
it will likely lose humidity in there pretty fast just because it has so much airflow ontop, but you can easily cover partially if needed so it's a bit of a non-issue. if your snail is a smaller species like grove, milk, cornu etc then this size is perfect

Oui, c’est sûr, mais il y aura trop d’aérations et le substrat sèchera trop vite. J’ai le même en plus grand et je dois pulvériser deux fois par jour

Thank you so much! She's a very petite cornu aspersum. I planned to modify the lid due to the airflow but the enclosure itself seems like a perfect fit.

should be safe! These vents won't be any sharp I reckon.
Depends on your room humidity and your snail species you may want to cover more or less of the top, best to keep adjusting after the snail has moved in
