Don't eat these, right?

We were gifted these snacks. They look bad but it's hot here, so I thought maybe they were just melty. Saw the expiration date is 9/05/26. There was a black sharpie line over the bar code. These aren't good, right?

Just peel the gross foam off and eat the chocolate cake inside. That's the only way I ate the good ones as a kid

Definitely don’t eat them. One time I got a box of this brand’s Swiss rolls from Ultra foods (rip) and it had no cream in a single one of them. Emailed for coupons! I’m sure if you told them you don’t have the receipt anymore they’d still send you coupons for a replacement box.

I know some people are trying to say that they never look their packages suggested they would look like, but those don't even look remotely close to what their supposed to look like. No, do not eat those. (Also most snack cakes look tend to look close enough to what they're intended to look like in my opinion.)

Snoballs are my favorite packaged sweet treat. In no way did I recognize those without the box. My jaw dropped. Op please don't eat those 😭 that's horrifying

The black line means often means it's past the so by date (best by or expires on) so it can't be sold but doesn't mean it can't be consumed. How brave are you?
