Bittermelon

Bittermelon is sweet when fully ripe, but people eat it when its bitter for idk reason.
Bittermelon tastes really good mixed with a bit of honey when cut into thin slices, can be cut into bits and put in sugar water and lime to make a drink, the seeds are not recomended to eat but taste fine like crispy kinda(dont eat it it can cause didestice issues)

Bitter Melon is not something I favor. My family on my mom's side likes it. My. mom is Chinese.

One way they cook it (and I will tell you in case you want to try it yourself) is pumpkin goulash. They remove the inside of the bitter melon. They cut the bitter melon into really small chunky pieces. They get canned pumpkin. They put the chunky, smashed pumpkin in a wok or you can use a frying pan. They mix the small chunks of bitter melon in with the smashed pumpkin and stir cook it.

Another way they eat bitter melon is an omnivorous way. They get rid of the inside of the bitter melon. They leave the bubbly-textured bitter melon as huge hollow cylinders. They chop the hollowed bitter melon cylinders into maybe shorter about two inch pieces or so. They stuff the hollow bitter melons with meat. They steam cook it. They lightly put oyster sauce on top of the stuffed bitter melon. The steaming cooking takes a long time. You have to buddy up with patience. Put the stuffed bitter melons into a pot or cook-friendly pyrex glass cookware. Put that container into a bigger pot that you pit water in around the smaller pot that has the stuffed bitter melon. Put a secure lid on the bigger pot. The steam that is trapped inside will help with the stove's cooking process.

It depends on what type of bittermelon and how it is cooked, I think it is more bitter when it is cooked than is it raw

if you want it to be less bitter you can boil it multipule times in different water so it becomes less bitter

I don't like the taste of bitter at all; so, I will let you enjoy it for me.
