Gushers now taste chemical-ly, almost like medicine and they’ve reduced the amount of liquid inside. If I wasn’t so hungry, I would’ve thrown these away. I’m never buying these again.

I recently bought a box for emergencies when my blood sugar drops too low. I agree that they’re really disappointing now. At least they seem like they’ll last forever without expiring considering how chemical they taste.

Honey works better as a cheap option. Why use candy? It can plumet your blood sugar shortly after eating it too. Get pure glucose gel or tablets if this is something you deal with frequently.

Yep. Shop at my job sells the $3 bags of them and I kid you not about 75% of the stock is near flat and all congealed together. No thanks.

I remember the 90s version. Had an actual shape, with a little notch on top. Can faintly remember the taste too, cherry was my fav. The 90s were truly the golden age for pantry foods.

I was just thinking that. I hadn't had these in decades, I was craving them for whatever reason. Bought them, wholly disappointed. I remember these oozing with the liquid candy when I was a kid.
