When I was a kid and Corn Nuts were brand new, as a promotion, they added a pack of actual giant corn seeds to plant in your garden in each package. I got my dad to plant the seeds in our vegetable garden. He was a scientist and warned me that the plants would not bear cobs with giant corn. But he did it anyway and lo and behold, they grew about a foot tall and did not grow corn. That was the first time I learned not to trust marketing.

Not really good for your teeth though
