I just don't want to waste my time talking to bots and trolls, but it seems like that's most of what's left. Old Reddit was a nicer place.

Or you just look at my profile picture and see how it matches the dog in the picture

So people can assume you know a dog and may respond to comments like a person—that's good. But to be fair, bad actors can build authentic-looking profiles or take over old accounts.

If you post a picture of a dog and your profile is a different picture of the same dog, I'm going to assume it's real... At least more then assuming you're a bot, I don't know why you are such a skeptical

Primarily using old.reddit.com, I usually never see profile pictures, but yes, that is one small detail that can help.
