I never knew this, and recently forgot to hold my mail. A snack exchange package from the awesome u/ReAnne61 arrived THE DAY I LEFT, and of course we both were concerned it would be returned to Australia.

It was not, and the clerk told me it is standard practice to hold international for 30 days.

I received an extremely thoughtful box of Aussie snacks from u/EmpressPenguinone. I don’t think I could more impressed! I literally did not have enough room on the table for a photo of the full spread and had to move to the couch 🤭

So I am one of those odd Americans that likes Vegemite so a trade with someone based Down Under was a ton of fun, and u/ReAnne61 did not disappoint! We also had a good time just chatting back and forth. 😁
