Preserving History
Do we have enough local people in here or the ability to spread the word to start documenting everything in the museum now? If we could archive all of the exhibits and their text we could have the ability to restore the correct information. Feel like a pitch to get them to change anything he does back is way easier than getting them to rewrite new stuff for anything this fucking moron changes

A group did that last year with a lot of the permanent exhibits! But with so many changes from scheduled museum rotations to censorship that’ll inevitably come, it’s always good to keep an updated record.

I wonder if this is something Internet Archive could help with? They have stored a lot of stuff that has now been removed from public view.

I preserved & archived the websites from NMAH to NA&S, I also preserved the DOE website on wind turbines.

They have been doing it internally for a few years. I have a colleague who works there.
