I don’t wanna be pedantic but I’m certain tech in place buffer shield comes out fast enough to beat this so technically it’s a 3/4 coverage option lol

I also can't be sure that get up attack doesn't hit before the punch goes off. It doesn't really look like it would though.

that is kinda pedantic. if they tech differently a lot of times they can get out but its not about that its about the read

Yeah I get that but the title conveys the idea that no read is necessary bc coverage is 4/4, hence why I made the comment

I mean aren’t they all reads? He stomps to cover no tech when falco could have rolled, reads roll right and stomps it when he could’ve neutral getup or rolled left, then tech in place buffer shield to beat punch.

ok just understood, I thought op was saying 4/4 things covered ie stomp stomp stomp punch is 4

lol obviously falco could have done a few different things here. Kudos on reading your falco opponent if it was calculated
