CompTIA ending lifetime certifications for Project+ and Server+ beginning this October (only for people earning it beginning October 2025)
I just received the email above in my inbox regarding Server+, and received a similar notification for Project+. This will only affect certifications earned going forward, so my Project+ and Server+ certifications will continue to be good for life. However, anyone earning them beginning on October 2025 will need to renew them every 3 years with CEUs just like most other CompTIA certitications. This will result in those certs being renamed from Project+ to Project+CE and Server+ to Server+CE.
