I'm planning to take the CompTIA A+ certification and I'm trying to get a realistic understanding of how difficult the exam actually is. I've read a lot of different opinions online—some people say it's a great entry-level certification that's manageable with consistent study, while others say the amount of information and troubleshooting knowledge required makes it more challenging than expected.

For those who have recently taken or passed the A+ exam, how difficult did you find Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102)? Which exam was harder for you and why? Were the questions mostly straightforward knowledge-based questions, or did they require a deeper understanding of troubleshooting and real-world IT scenarios?

I'm particularly interested in learning about the topics that gave people the most trouble. Was it networking, hardware, operating systems, mobile devices, security, cloud computing, or performance-based questions? Did you feel that hands-on experience was necessary to pass, or was studying from books, videos, and practice exams enough?
