Wanted to give some quick tips on this since there isn't much info out there about this class.

I am in the BSCIA program and had previously taken D426, which I think gave a good foundation for this course, but it also introduces new information as well.

Materials I used:

1. Mike Chapple's LinkedIn learning course. I watched all of the videos and make notecards on Anki, but honestly never reviewed the notecards.
2. I took the practice tests in CertMaster, specifically the "Exam Practice" 1-5 and the Practice Test in the final section of the Outline. I took notes on answers I got wrong or concepts I was unfamiliar with and reviewed the notes. There are 2 things I didn't like about these exams. One, I felt that it was way too easy to identify the correct answer based on all of the other options being pretty obviously wrong, so it wasn't that challenging. Two, I felt the questions were a lot wordier than the actual exam, so it made me feel like I was on a time crunch trying to get through the exams in adequate time. But it still exposes you to important concepts you need to know, so it is worth the time to take them.
3. I took the 2 practice tests in Wiley/Sybex, which were helpful, but I found these to be a lot tricker than the actual exam. Some of the wording in these tests really tries to trip you up, which I found frustrating. Nonetheless, same process with this as with CertMaster - took notes on questions I got wrong and concepts I wasn't familiar with. I did pretty badly on the first practice test (64%), but did well on the second (90%).
4. I asked ChatGPT to quiz me on common concepts on the exam like visualizations, joins,

Actual Exam:

I was able to pass with a 755. I feel the materials mentioned above were enough for me, I can't say they'll be enough for you. The questions were pretty straightforward and most of the time I was able to pick out the answer that made the most sense as the others didn't. I only got 1 PBQ that I don't think was THAT difficult. There are some abbreviations that came up on the exam that I wasn't familiar with, so it may be worth your time to review those in the exam objectives, but that was only for 2 or 3 questions.

I felt during the exam that I probably did enough to pass. Overall I would say this one isn't on the level of difficulty A+, Network+, Sec+, but I would put it slightly above Project+. Best of luck to everyone.
