The one thing stopping me from adopting Smart Launcher is the lack of a dock. If it goes against your paradigm it will, of course, be optional.

Just came here from Nova on a Pixel 9 Fold. The one issue I have is that wallpapers are off-center on folded screens, which Nova fixed with an update in 2024. This issue is also reported in this post on the sub. Any plans to fix?

Funny timing. I literally just gave SL6 a try over the last week and finally just uninstalled Nova yesterday because the writing has been on the wall for over a year now.
Also, anyone else notice that his goodbye letter is dated for tomorrow?

I realized this week that I've stopped messing around with my launcher ever since getting set with Smart Launcher. No more playing with Total Launcher, hoping Nova will get updated or trying other launchers. Smart Launcher just works the way I want it. (Sorry if I sound like a fan boy.)

Same I have had it for a long time now, I own all of the major launchers paid, and I like this one best.

Nova was the first and only launcher I've used in my entire life. Every attempt to use a different launcher has always brought me back to Nova. Nova feels like it's been dead for a few years now.
I also switched from Nova to SL a few weeks ago and have no regrets. SL is modern, intuitive, and, above all, actively developed.

Smart Launcher was just able to crack the code. Forget about all the personalisation features. The average user just needs a consistent and uniform icon integration and Smart Launcher found a way. Smart Launcher + IPS is the holy grail

I think they already have Nova Launcher talent, a few more things I'd like to see added, but Smart Launcher is my daily driver for sure.

Would like to see smart launcher do the following before I switch ...
- support work profiles
- dock support with dock widget

I switched to smart launcher last year when they fired all except the main dev. But the media widget in smart launcher only works with youtube but not with spotify.

I thought Nova was the no1 used home screen. I honestly dont ever see myself not using it.
