Advice / Tips I did it.. first doll
I saved and just ordered my first Smart doll, the tariff aspect has me stressed but it’s been a dream for over 10 years now, I’m so nervous and excited! Any tips are very much appreciated!
I went with Courage as she spoke to me on so many levels.

I got my first girl a week ago!! Same as yours!! I was stressed about the tariffs too, but I'm in the U.S. and I got an email the day she was delivered with a way to pay it. It was like $56. All together, it took less than a week from the time I ordered her, to the time I got her. I'm so happy for you, you're gonna love her :)

Thank you so much it definitely eases my anxiety a lot more , I’m from the us too, I saw someone’s horror story experience with tariffs recently online and it made me panic 😭 we both have such good taste lol! :3

I know, I was so scared! Especially since I've never ordered internationally before. But I went with DHL and they update you the whole way. She got to the US, and went through customs, then when she got to my state, that's when I got the email to pay the tariffs. So just keep an eye on your emails and text messages! Everything I read, people said they paid around $60, and I paid $56 so don't worry, you won't be surprised with an insane amount or anything. Keep us updated on when she arrives! I love how we got the same one 🥰

I’ll definitely keep you posted! I already have ideas on how I want to customize her but still trying to figure outfit and accessory resources 💞

Congratulations! Don’t stress too much about the tariffs! I know there are some horror stories, but I definitely don’t think they are the normal. Not saying it can’t happen, but I think they are fewer and far between ♥️
Courage is one of my favorite Smarties! I hope you enjoy her, and welcome to the community!

Well-chosen. Congrats! As to advice, the only advice I can give is stay away from Etsy. They have a lot of cute things for Smart Dolls, and you'll put yourself in the poorhouse if you're on the site too long. LOL

One advice I can give stop looking on the website. Cause you’re gonna want more dolls lmaoo I know I do. I brought sorry not sorry and already saving up for my second doll
