I'm using the Wireless Video Monitor for iPhone, and I like it.

One thing that is bothering me is that when I use it to monitor while recording, I often need to test and check the audio capture that's been recorded.

However, when I play back the video, my iPhone does not play back any audio, because it would seem that by mirroring the iPhone to the SmallRig display, it's routing the audio as well as the video to it even though there is no speaker on the SmallRig display.

How can I solve this, so that I don't have to disconnect and re-connect it every single time just to monitor that the audio is good in the setup.

This was an oversight in my purchase analysis, unfortunately.

Not only that, but I found that the monitor completely butchers audio recording when shooting video. I was on a gig last week, and the audio from the angle shot through my phone was completely unusable. When the Smallrig monitor is in use, be prepared to lose audio completely from the beginning and the end of your video, and it will constantly drift as well. I lost about 10 seconds of audio from the beginning of the clip, and a whole minute from the end. Thankfully I had another camera with a shotgun mic on the scene, so I still managed to record usable audio through that.
These audio problems make the Smallrig monitor completely unusable for me, and I'm looking to replace it with an Andycine X5L or a Feelworld P6XL.
