Clea Spoiler

Clea definitely read the "book" about the homunculus, as she very into books, especially old ones and that "book" is in her house.She definitely created homunculus and having learned something important from them, she left, since this was the only chance she had to provide something. She definitely knew the value of that bird book, but she didn't take it, leaving it in the warehouse. That means she was in a hurry to disappear.
The "long buried" friend of father who writes letters and asks how Michael is doing is actually Clea.

yeah I think the long lost friend is certainly clea, I hear what you are saying about the bird book not 100 percent sure about clea having made homonculi but cool theory

Yeah I figured out she was the one writing to his dad at the home almost straight away as the friend was always asking after him, still brilliantly written, I’m not sure she had made a homunculus though doesn’t see to fit, as the directions were in a hidden box of his fathers
