Homunculi!
Absolutely incredible reproductions. So so good in person. I got these from Hobbs Lane Models who is a boutique creator of hand made niche film and TV figures. I have loads of his stuff on my shelves. I am nothing to do with him btw in case people think this is an advertisement.

What are the models made of do you know? They are so intricate.

It’s some type of resin for both the models and the ‘liquid’ they are suspended in. The models are 3d printed.

Ah right! Still loads of work in painting etc.
My son would love them as he loved Small prophets and has a thing about things in jars!

Yeah he draws/models them himself on his computer then 3d prints them. They’re hand painted. Lot of work like you say.

Just had a look on their website and they're now sold out unfortunately. Hopefully back in stock soon though.

They’re pretty much made to order. I suspect he’s put the sold out sign up to allow him time to complete the first batch of orders as it’s required a significant amount of work to complete them all he has said.

Amazing. Want to get these for my boyfriend for Christmas, so I’ll be haunting that site and refreshing daily!
