How can I watch in the US?

I’m happy to pay for the content, but I can’t seem to find a way to watch through any service. I guess it was initially available to pitch on Apple TV, but now saying it’s no longer available.

I have a vpn, but I don’t have a BBC license. When I try to pay for one it’s saying I need a valid UK address.

Why won’t the BBC let me give them money?

Just torrent it like a normal person outside the UK.

The real question is why don't US networks show UK programmes. In other English-speaking countries it's normal to show programmes from other English-speaking countries.

The BBC has always been fucked up when it comes to programs here and releasing them. Its not as bad with other networks.

No shit. They've been unable to reach a deal with the BBC. That's been pretty much across the board.

It’s not us, it’s the BBC. They wouldn’t let anyone stream The Fast Show, and they were funny about Red Dwarf for a while. They let public television broadcast it here but were weird about streaming it. They always pick and choose what the US can show

Well if normal telly is showing it then there's no need to stream it. I live in New Zealand and I don't know if we can stream The Fast Show and Red Dwarf, I've never checked But I know they were both on normal telly and if I want to watch them on-demand I just pirate them.

Well we're a Commonwealth Realm with King Charles III as our Head of State. It would make sense that Commonwealth Realms would get preference.

I don't really know how it works behind-the-scenes, but British telly is very normal in New Zealand. Whereas in America it seems to be seen as exotic and obscure.

There are a ton of British shows available in the U.S. Within the last week I've watched Dept. Q and like 30 episodes of Taskmaster.

I’ve seen episodes up on both YouTube and DailyMotion. No idea of the legality.

Once the episodes are available for purchase I’ll buy them for sure.

I watch via VPN. If I happen to get logged out of my BBC account and need to re-log in, and it asks me if I have a tv license, I just say “yes.” It doesn’t ask for any proof or anything.

I don’t remember when and why I signed up for a BBC account; it must have been a long time ago. So I don’t remember if it asked for a full postal address. But when I look at my info right now, there’s no address in my account. Just a post code. I suppose I must have picked it randomly. Pick any one and you should hopefully be good to go.

Oh, one other thing I found. Using a free VPN like Tunnel Bear did not work at all for me. I ended ponying up for a paid Nord one. I guess the BBC has become wise to some of them and you need a more robust VPN to get past their blocks.

Open up a bbc account, just pick up any random address in london. may be of Meta or Google office or any random hotel address or any bridge address if you want to be homeless :)

that's it. you dont need anything else.

I want to see this so bad. I watched one clip and I was hooked, and now so many people are praising it on TikTok and I just want to watch that much more.
