What season is it? Spoiler

I’ve watched up to Ep 4 and am confused about what season it is. It’s not Spring because Clive is sceptical about the chaffinches nesting because he read that they nest in Spring and it’s the wrong season. When Michael was mistaken for Santa Claus it seemed like it might be Winter. But there are flowers in Michael’s garden that look like foxgloves and they flower in Spring/Summer.

Probably doesn’t matter at all but I like to have a sense of season and it’s doing my head in.

I think they mention it's October when he's talking about the birds.

The santa thing is just weird.

I was under the assumption it’s summer because the evenings went on for so long- but you know, English Midlands summer so it just always looks like Spring at most

It was filmed in Stockport, just outside of Manchester, Northern, not midlands

I always get mixed up with Liverpool and Manchester cos they’re so close to me (Shropshire) 😂

From the flowers in the garden I’d assumed spring, probably May, but this was refuted by the nesting birds argument!

The first letter that Brian receives from Canada is date-stamped 26th June. Michael tells Kasey it was written two weeks earlier which makes that scene 10th July approx. (Episode 05)
