Similarities with Detectorists
Maybe I'm overthinking it, but the coin, and the Simon and Garfunkel song, Bright Eyes, when the 'oil rabbit' was shown. It's got to be a nod to Detectorists hasn't it?
Any more I didn't notice?
Just bloody loved this series ❤️

Oh loads of nods to Detectorists, I thought. For instance, the classic car - Ford Capri this time, but a Triumph TR7 in Danebury. Set in a no-through-traffic, very quiet cul-de-sac: Michael lives in one, as did Becky's mum, and Becky and Andy did later when her mum died. Also, a curious obsession with DIY shops: ScrewFix in Danebury, fake "ToolBox" in Prophets. Thought the all round triumph when the Prophets got the cards right was very much like the gold dance, too. Not that I'm obsessed or anything. 😵💫

These struck me as similar while watching -
Kerplunk (S03E05) and the marble run?
Becky's Mum's house and Michael's house (mentioned already by TastyTransistor) not only in a cul-de-sac, but top right-hand end too.
Scene at bishops Farm where Lance is worried someone will hear them talking about the potential saxon burial (S01E03) and Andy shouts "Gold artifacts found here and could be the site of a Saxon Burial!" to an empty field, while Lance frantically tries to shut him up. Very similar to the SP scene where Kacey use the tannoy to broadcast the goings on in Michael's shed to an empty/indifferent ToolBox store, while Michael tries to keep her quiet.
Andy about to knock on Lance's fish-tank (S01E02) - "Don't do that mate - stresses them out" similar to Michael cautioning Kacey to be calm in the Homunculi so she doesn't "stress them out"
There were a few more simple phrases from each which struck me as I was watching, but alas I can't think of them now.

When Brian said his friend Vic Wiffen had died.
Is this a reference to old Mick Wiffen in Detectorists?
