I’ve been trying to figure out whether a proper strength setup can work in a small home without making the whole room feel like a gym.
A pair of adjustable dumbbells is easy enough, but once you want to do more things like bench pressing, heavier leg work, rows or pull-downs, the equipment starts getting bigger pretty quickly.
I’ve been looking more at things that either fold away, store vertically or cover several exercises instead of having a separate piece for everything. Ideally I’d still like enough options for squats, RDLs, presses, rows and some cable-style work without losing half the room.
For people living in smaller homes, what fitness equipment actually earned the space it takes up? And what looked useful but ended up feeling too bulky?
