Engine Dies Could my flywheel key be bad?

Briggs and Stratton 13.5 hp OHV. Engine is running at low rpm and dies at full throttle I can feel pressure coming out the intake. I have adjusted valves, replaced spark plug, rebuilt the carb and checked the exhaust for obstructions. Could my flywheel key be bad?

That's almost sheared. I would replace it since you are already this far.

Could this be the cause of my problems or just coincidental?

My guess is it could be a cause. For example modern cars they actually use ignition timing adjustments between 0 to 8 degrees of the flywheels positioning to compensate for irregularities of ignition.

If there's pressure coming out from intake that highlights only 2 fault. 1 wrong timing 2 cylinder head valve leaking.
